This asset, known as VCAD, represents a new standard for tokenized bank products and is a global first "Digital Deposit Receipt". VCAD, by being issued as a fully regulated deposit receipt, unlocks new use cases for digital asset holders such as yield bearing savings accounts as well as potentially deposit insurance and the ability to be held within registered accounts. It also revolutionizes the GIC market by drastically enhancing transferability, speed of settlement and auditability. As part of this collaboration, Stablecorp integrated The Forge into VersaBank's VersaVault product to enable customized governance structures within the bank.

Seamless interoperability between QCAD and VCAD enables a comprehensive set of customized financial tools to be deployed for individuals, SMBs and institutions fulfilling a broad suite of novel and traditional use-cases.

Novel partnerships between traditional financial institutions like Versabank and blockchain native companies like Stablecorp are critical to providing the "step-function" value propositions that Stablecorp aims to deliver.
